Concert Instruments

When it comes to playing in Band and Orchestra, only a few people actually play the most challenging parts on Snare and Keyboards. Most of us, most of the time, are playing the OTHER parts. Cymbals, Bass Drum, Triangle, Tambourine, Castanets, etc.

It’s critically important that we as percussionists are good at these instruments for our practical day-to-day playing AND by studying them, you will greatly deepen your ability to listen to tone and resonance, increasing your musicality on every other instrument as well.
