Rudimental Drumming

Rudimental Snare Drumming is defined by the historical styles of Military Drumming, as well as modern Marching Ensembles. This section covers the language of Rudiments, 2-bounce Open rolls, and the specific applications to modern drumming.

Modern writing blends these concepts with Concert Drumming more freely, so this can be considered a trainer for modern marching ensembles. This approach scales back to pre-1970 styles, but the specific drumming language of those times is different, and requires additional interpretive study.
